The White Series
‘I’ve never seen anything like this before!’… is a comment I hear over again and it makes my heart sing. It is the reward of years of training and pushing myself in my quest for individuality as a professional painter.
The original concept is vastly different from what you see today, due to my increasing desire to develop the technique; it’s somewhat my ‘art baby’ and watching it grow in popularity has increased my drive to keep evolving the design.
The process is long and meticulous, yet fluid and adventurous. Each design is unique, even when the subject matter is the same they are all individual. I know that this where the ‘White Series’ comes into its own, and all who acquire a piece can be satisfied that there is no exact copy.
After years of development, my breakthrough came in 2022 when my design was selected into the famous ‘Glover Prize’ in Tasmania and won the ‘Hangers Award’. This was an amazing achievement for me.
One thing I love about this style is that it is inviting. It is crisp, clean, happy and the subjects are familiar. There is an emotional attachment for my clients when purchasing or commissioning their own design and I feel proud that they are receiving a unique piece of quality artwork.
